This year marks Bressler & Company’s 30th anniversary. With most small businesses failing within the first ten years, we attribute our longevity to several factors. First, our clients are treated like family. Many of our original clients have retired and turned their businesses over to their children who continue to trust Bressler & Company for their accounting services and tax planning advice. Secondly, we are continually looking at not only our clients’ past but to their future while building stronger relationships along the way. And, last but not least, Joe Bressler and Tracy Bressler both said their success could not have been achieved without the phenomenal team of talented individuals who were meticulously chosen for their skills and passions.

Tracy Bressler purchased the business in 1988 which started out as Tracy Bressler, CPA. In 2011, she incorporated and the company name became Bressler & Company. With 20 team members now, the full-service business has grown to meet the needs of local businesses. Sixty percent of our clients are in the agricultural industry, and we serve some of the powerhouse agribusinesses in the San Joaquin Valley. Our passion is using tax saving strategies to save our clients the most money possible at every opportunity.

Our “company” is really a family-run business. Tracy and her husband Bill have been married since 1974. Though semi-retired, Bill still helps out with quality control during tax season. Joe, their son, started out as their IT Director in 2006. In May 2014 he became a CPA as well and in 2017 he became the majority shareholder. “He is the succession plan for the business,” said Tracy, adding that she didn’t see retirement plans in her near future.
